BAD NEWS: Ratio Games is closing down forever until further notice. The reason is because the forum has been a burden since day one, and because I do not think I am mature enough to run the forum. I will not be deleting it, but it will be in "under construction" mode.

Bad News: Ratio Games forums will be closing forever until further notice. The reason is because this forum has been a burden since day one, and also because I do not think I am mature enough to run it. I will not be deleting it, but I will put it in under construction mode until I am ready to run it again. The good news, though, is that the technical issues have been fixed. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused for my co- admin, and to our loyal members.

I've heard that it's dead for gaming, and I must agree with that. I only use mine for internet, music, and videos these days. I actually don't own a game for it Razz

What about you?

Dead, most definitely.

The DS is way better, and with the launch of the DSi, it got a lot better.

My friend zach says the graphics are "better" he also says they're "clearer". He wouldn't explain much more about the graphics, though. The only game currently out for it is "rythm haven", which I don't really care for much. When I get mine, I'll just use it for playing regular DS games and maybe use some of the new features, but when new games come out for it, I'll be there. I'm probably not going to get one until my b-day, because I can't seem to find a way to get moolah. How can I, (a fifteen year old) get money? (that doesn't involve a paper route, which my aide at school seems to think I can handle. The adults at my school have all given me crappy ideas, including my principal, who says "A high school education." Does he think I'm a ne'erdowell, or something? C'mon! I need cash!)

The PSP is not dead for gaming, it has great games like patapon and locoroco, I love playing monster hunter and megaman powered up and megaman mavrick hunter X. The PSP isn't dead for gaming it just doesn't have as big of a fan base as the ds, and the gimicky DSi.

The Dsi isn't worth the price that it is especially if you have a DS lite, The DSI doesn't have a better screen just a wider one, it will look just like your lite. Thats my opinion on the DS and The PSP.

To me, it wasn't that great a platform for gaming in the first place. As mentioned above, it was popular for its MP3 and photo viewing capabilities along with the browser...but laptops and MP3 players are much cheaper now than they were when the PSP first launched Wink PSP's are probably better for the younger generation and in this country they seem to be very popular with kids. As for me, I prefer to play Sony games on a big screen.

My friend game me his PSP, but it has a slightly broken Circle button, so some games aren't playable.
